All-Natural Summer Fruit Popsicles

Summer is here and there is nothing quite like a cold treat to cool down the kids after a day of outdoor play. Kids love popsicles, but many store-bought brands are loaded with sugar and artificial ingredients. Since popsicles are so easy to make at home, why not whip some up yourself? You’ll save money, have some fun in the kitchen, and you’ll have peace of mind knowing that your child is enjoying something that is good for them. Plus, kids love these all-natural treats!

You will need a popsicle mold or you can make these in plastic cups with wooden popsicle sticks. Either way, they’re delicious! Each recipe makes 2 pops.

Cinnamon Apple Pops

Ingredients:

 1 large apple

1/2 cup apple juice or apple cider

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon honey

4 ice cubes

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into molds and freeze overnight. These taste like apple pie but they are far healthier.

Orange Crème Pops

Ingredients:

1 cup orange juice

1/2 cup canned Mandarin orange segments drained

1/4 cup heavy cream or half and half

1 tablespoon honey

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients in blender until smooth. Pour into molds and freeze overnight. Sweet and tangy goodness the kids will love!
