Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 3–4 tablespoons nutritional yeast (this adds a cheesy, savory flavor without dairy)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (whole wheat for a healthier option)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup finely chopped spinach (optional, for added greens)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1-2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Directions:
Mix chicken, nutritional yeast, breadcrumbs, egg, spinach, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Form into golf-ball-size patties and flatten slightly.
Fry in a little olive oil over medium heat, 3–4 minutes per side, until golden and 165°F inside.
