Provider Spotlight – Ms. Alston

Meet Ms. Alston

Ms. Alston creates an enriching environment for the children in her care.

Every month she creates a beautiful display, based on the Let’s Play Curriculum, presented at eye-level that contains fun colors and pictures of the children doing various activities.

Pictured here is the wall display and a car wash built from recycled materials. The children were able to play with this car wash during dramatic playtime where they drove toy vehicles through.

Also pictured are children engaged in parallel play. Ms. Alston created a fun matching game by printing and laminating a parking lot with cars of different colors and pairing the mat with wooden toy cars.

Ms. Alston is always engaging with the children and creating a fun and positive atmosphere.
