Happy Fall to AMC Families!

This is a very special time of year when we can reflect on all the good that we have in our lives. The FCC Network Team would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to you for allowing us to be part of your child’s learning journey while attending one of our affiliated programs.

As the weather is unpredictable during this season, please make sure your child has a weather-appropriate change of clothes in their bag and outwear when applicable.

HOME ROUTINES FOR INDEPENDENCE AND SUCCESS WORKSHOP

We are excited to share with you this amazing informative Workshop, scheduled on November 30th at 8:00 Pm with Dr. Francyne Zeltser, a New York State Licensed Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychologist.

Participants will learn strategies including:

1) Tips to create and maintain a successful schedule

2) How to adapt routines for holidays, vacations, and other variations

3) Ways to positively reinforce routines with your child

Provider Spotlight

Ms. Daniela worked very intentionally with rearranging the daycare environment to support the children’s autonomy. She has created a setting at eye level of the children where they can have easy access to materials and wall displays.

She has rearranged the areas based on centered areas such as Math, Language and Literacy, Science, Dramatic Play, an so on. Additionally, she incorporates weekly lesson plans based on the Let’s Play Curriculum and Values Activities.
