From the Education Department – Values Program

The Values Program at All My Children.

A message from the Education Department.

Despite the importance of being part of an educational framework, nowadays it is not necessary to physically be in the classroom in order to learn.
Everything can be found in the media. What is missing in children’s daily studies are key values that build their future.
Therefore, part of our curriculum brings values and enrichment to children. These include the value of responsibility, value of family, the value of appreciation and acknowledgment of what we have. We ask, “What are the implications of these values on us and the environment we are in?”
In every AMC classroom, there is a daily moment of silence – 60 seconds of good thought for how we can make the world a better place. Students and teachers look forward to this moment and share their thoughts with their peers.
So far, we are seeing an improvement in the students’ behavior. The are getting better at taking responsibility, while focusing on calmness and serenity.
Next month we will be exploring how it feels when we do good to others.
