AMC Amsterdam – Literacy

The students at AMC Amsterdam are working on building literacy skills. They are learning the letters of the alphabet and building their vocabulary.

Check out the summer program at the various AMC locations. There will be plenty of activities and outdoor fun for the children.

As caretakers of precious children, we often consider how we can prepare them for their future in learning with character building and values.

This beautiful collection of children’s authentic work from AMC sites 1, 2, and 6 represents the various core area subjects from the DOE.

The AMC Special Education department has monthly workshops to continue their education.

The children at Sutphin AMC have been enjoying the enrichment program at AMC. They are hands-on and curious about what they are learning.

The children at Rego and Sutphin AMC had a blast learning about the different types of transportation.

The children at our 69th AMC happily learned about dental hygiene. They loved using these big milk jugs as examples of human teeth.

We celebrated 100 days of school at Jewel and Rogers AMC.

The children at AMC dressed up as 100-year-olds to celebtrate the 100th day of school. This is a great milestone for the school year.
