Thematic Units at AMC

Check out some of the recent thematic units we experienced at AMC.

Our Pre-K learners at AMC at Mayfield Ave. learned all about pedestrian safety and talked about road signs and what to do at a crosswalk. STOP, LOOK, and LISTEN  to be safe! The kids had a blast creating traffic lights with different materials.

Play is Powerful! It’s the key to learning. At All My Children on Mayfield Rd., in Jamaica Estates, NY, Ms. Aliza transformed her dramatic play area into an “Eye Doctor’s Office” during the thematic unit, “My Five Senses.”  

A child asked the pretend doctor, “Can you please help me read?”
