5 Books for Back-to-School

Crack open a book with your child before school starts!

With the summer season in full swing, it can be hard to think about the fall, when school will be back in session. Before long, we’ll be storing away the beach towels and getting backpacks ready.

Reading during the summer is important so your children can keep up with their literacy skills and vocabulary building. Taking an entire summer off from reading could set them back, so be sure to get in plenty of reading time – before bedtime, on weekends, or whenever you can.

To get your children excited about the upcoming school year, these 5 back-to-school themed books will put them in the right frame of mind – from summer fun to something more serious.
