Amber Ball is the New Director at AMC and our September Director of the Month
We are excited to introduce Amber Ball as the new Director at AMC and our September Director of the Month!
Amber brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for education to our community. Originally from Long Island, New York, Amber now calls Queens her home. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in General and Special Education from Nyack College in Rockland County, and she is on track to receive her School Building Leader (SBL) license in the coming months.
With over 12 years of experience in education, Amber has held various roles across public and charter schools. She has served as a classroom teacher and as a Dean of Instruction, where she excelled in coaching teachers on curriculum development, instructional practices, and behavior management. Most recently, Amber was the Assistant Principal at a charter school in Brooklyn. In that role, she oversaw all aspects of the school, including systems, structures, students, staff, and families. Her leadership was instrumental in guiding the school through a successful and productive year.
As she steps into her new role at AMC, Amber is eager to get to know each member of our community and learn about the incredible work being done here. She believes in fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute to our shared mission.
With Amber’s guidance, we are confident that our students will continue to enjoy a safe, engaging, and productive learning experience. Amber is looking forward to working alongside all of us, offering her support wherever needed and building on the strong foundation that has already been established at AMC.
Please join us in welcoming Amber Ball to our team.
